Tyler McMartin is a multimedia artist and architect based in Los Angeles. His art practice is focused on challenging the conventions of abstract painting through critical experimentation to produce progressive form and aesthetic. He holds a BS in studio art from Skidmore College (2007), and an M. Arch from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc, 2012). Exhibitions include SIGNAL 2023 at 517 Victoria Ave., PlantBased 2023, SALON 2022, Writing in Tongues 2020, and Natural Selections at the 2019 Bambay Beach Biennale.
